(32) Concrete screws are designed with alternating raised and lower threads with diamond cut notches. They cut their own threads into concrete, brick or block.
They eliminate the need for an anchor when used in light or medium-duty applications.
(15) Drop-in anchors are made with an expansion shield and an expander plug. The anchor is dropped into a predrilled hole in concrete or stone and then expanded using a setting tool.
Drop-in anchors are ideal for overhead applications and are highly dependable because anchor setting is assured.
(8) Lag screw shields are medium-duty, zinc alloy anchors and are designed for use with lag bolts. As the lag bolt is turned into the shield, the anchor expands against the concrete, brick or block.
Short lag shields are used in harder masonry materials for reduced drilling time. Long lag shields are used in soft or weak masonry materials for better holding power.
(6) Machine screw anchors are two-piece female anchors with internal machine screw threads. A setting tool must be used to expand the anchor against the base material.
Machine screw anchors fit into irregular holes and are designed for medium-duty use in concrete, brick, block or stone.
(7) Nylon nail anchors have a nylon body with a steel nail inside. They are set when the nail is driven into the anchor, creating expansion against the concrete, brick or block.
Nylon nail anchors are not recommended for structural or overhead applications. They are ideal for light-duty type of fastening.
(22) Sleeve anchors work when you insert them into predrilled holes in concrete, brick or block and then turn the nut to pull the working end of the sleeve anchor up through the sleeve. The sleeve anchor is then expanded and anchored securely in the base material.
(11) Split bolt anchors are used in light-duty applications in concrete. The anchor sets itself as it is driven through the fixture into a predrilled hole in the concrete.
(20) Toggle bolts & wings are light-duty anchors for use in hollow block or wallboard.
The machine screw must be inserted through the object to be mounted into the spring loaded wing, which folds for installation through a predrilled hole. Once through the hole, the wing re-opens.
(5) Toggle wings are light-duty anchors which are used with machine screws in hollow block or wallboard.
The machine screw must be inserted through the object to be mounted into the spring loaded wing, which folds for installation through a predrilled hole. Once through the hole, the wing re-opens.
(66) Wedge anchors are used to anchor fixtures in concrete. The wedge anchors are inserted into a predrilled hole and then expaned, causing them to wedge securely in the concrete.
(6) Zamac nail anchors have a zamac body with a steel nail on the inside. They are set when the nail is driven into the anchor, creating expansion against the concrete, brick or block.
